About Arman Sharbatdaran, M.D.
Arman Sharbatdaran, M.D. is a nuclear medicine physician specializing in molecular imaging and therapeutics. He is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at AVÑо¿Ëù and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center.
Dr. Sharbatdaran graduated from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, Canada, where he earned his B.Sc. in 2016. He then received his M.D. at St. George's University School of Medicine in 2022.
Following an internship in General Surgery at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Dr. Sharbatdaran completed his residency in Nuclear Medicine at New York-Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center from 2023 to 2026, during which he served as Chief Resident.
Dr. Sharbatdaran's research areas include artificial intelligence and quantitative imaging, automated organ volumetry on MRI, and oncologic molecular imaging. He received a Trainee Research Prize from the Radiological Society of North America in 2022 and a Research Scholar Grant from the RSNA Research & Education Foundation in 2026.
Dr. Sharbatdaran joined the faculty at AVÑо¿Ëù in August 2026 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, as a member of the Molecular Imaging and Therapeutics Division.
